Thanksgiving Meat-O Returns on Nov. 23

Beacon Hose is set to host the latest edition of one of our most popular events: the Thanksgiving Meat-O!

Our Thanksgiving Meat-O Night will be Saturday, Nov. 23, from 6-9 p.m. at the firehouse. A $5 admission fee includes a delicious buffet dinner. The features of the night are games of chance to win something special for your Thanksgiving table. We’ll have turkeys, hams, roasts, seafood, raffle baskets, mystery turkeys, and more up for grabs!

Reservations are a must if you want to attend the event. Only those 21 and older are allowed, and the event is BYOB (alcohol is allowed). To reserve seats, please call the firehouse at 203-729-1470 or email erin7773@frontier.com by Nov. 20.

It’s time for the return of Beacon Hose’s annual holiday scavenger hunt!

The Beacon Hose “Spreading Holiday Cheer” Scavenger Hunt is set for Saturday, November 30, from 3-9 p.m. The hunt begins and ends at Beacon Hose, and we’ll have food and prizes at the firehouse before heading over to the River’s Edge Pub and Grille for some postgame festivities. Register for 5th Annual Beacon-Holio Cornhole Tourney on Oct. 13

The Beacon-Holio Cornhole Tournament is back for a fifth run at Beacon Hose!

The tournament is set for Sunday, Oct. 13 at Beacon Hose. (Registration and shootaround will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by an all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch) It’ll be an all-afternoon affair (RAIN OR SHINE!) with big cash prizes on the line. The nuts and bolts of the tournament are below; click here for the rules, which will be the same as those used by the American Cornhole League.

It’s not Oktoberfest — it’s Beacon Hose Octoberfest, and after a great debut in 2018, we’re happy to announce that the event is back this fall!

Join us at Beacon Hose on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. for our second annual Octoberfest. Celebrate some of the year’s best weather with a day filled with good food, drinks, and family fun at our firehouse. On behalf of all of us at Beacon Hose, thank you for the incredible support at our 2019 carnival. Every year, we are humbled by the support of our community, neighbors, and friends who wait in long lines and spend their hard-earned money to support our community causes and our membership. Rest assured that all the proceeds from this year’s event, as always, will be used to give back to our community and provide for our staff of volunteers.
